Trak Ryder Foam Cells Shock

Trak Ryder 9500 Series

Foam cell technology virtually eliminates shock fades
Long lasting performance thanks to cooler operation
Ideal for heavy duty off-road driving

Available on the TrakRyder 9500 series, these foam cell based shock absorbers are revolutionary in providing excellent comfort and control for harsh off road conditions. In gas based shock absorbers, harsh terrain conditions would cause excessive stroking of the absorbers. Rigorous stroking causes the shock absorber oil and gas to mix, leading conditions known as foaming and bubbling. Unlike oil, gases are highly compressible and an oil-gas mixture is unpredictable. This leads to uneven absorber performance known as shock fades.

TrakRyder 9500 series uses foam cells to prevent such conditions, virtually eliminating shock fade. In addition, since the oil has direct contact with the outer cylinder, thermal conduction is improved and the shock absorber will run much cooler and last longer than normal shock absorbers.

TrakRyder 9500 series shocks have a huge 41 mm bore that further minimises fade and also allows more precise valve settings for unrivalled performance without compromising comfort. When integrated with TrakRyder springs, Pedders TrakRyder shock absorbers form an integrated tuned package for a great driving experience in the widest range of driving conditions.
